About Countin' Crows

Hey there........ My name is Chris and I established my business about 4 years ago when I began "peddling my wares" at a local market under the name of Country fx by Chris.

I have always been interested in crafting and my passion for Country Craftin' and Primitives started about 12 years ago.

My collection has already made one move into a bigger home, however, with the collection I have steadily accumulated over the years I don't believe that another move will ever be undertaken....lol

My passion for primitives has increased tremendously since joining a wonderful collective....namely "The Chocolate Crow Trader" where I have met and made a heap of awesome new friends, a few of whom I know will last a lifetime.

In this time I have seen my primitive side flourish and I now tend to lean more to this persuasion rather than country....this ultimately lead me to a change of business name....and in April 2007 my website "Countin' Crows Primitives " came to be!

There is nothing I enjoy more than crafting and creating my pieces and I spend most of my spare time doing this, much to the despair of my very patient (often hungry) hubby, who puts up with a not so tidy home and late dinners on more than a few occasions....lol

In June 2008 I took the plunge and started up a second business, Little House Primitives , a webite dedicated to simple prims and wares from years gone by. You will find a link to this site on my Store Home page should you wish to wander on over and have a look.

I also took over the reigns of The Chocolate Crow Trader from my dear friend Beverly Miller mid last year when she lost her longtime battle with cancer. The Choccy Crow is an on-line craft magazine which updates the 15th of every month with offerings from some 30 girls. (Please see the link on my links page).

So as you can see I keep myself pretty busy these days!

Well I won't bore you with anymore of my dribble but I will take this oportunity to thank my husband Jeff and my ever supportive family and friends for their encouragement in getting this little business of mine up and running.

I hope you check back in often as I will be striving to regularly update my pages. Feel free to contact me if you have ANY queries. I would love to meet you all.

Please make sure you pop in and sign my guestbook. Once you have registered for a purchase all you have to do is pop in your user name and password where it says "log in ", press "submit" ...and off ya go!

Ooooh......ooops I nearly forgot!...Thankyou Jeff for allowing me to spend all my spare time on this website....luv ya xx....................................... bye for now....Chris
